PureLife.travel is giving away 4 sets of tickets to 3 lucky winners this holiday season! If you haven’t entered yet, be sure to enter today through this link because you have a chance to experience a fun-filled day unlike any other! Located in Hopefield, Cape Town, Wacky Adventures offers you an array of activities to try, ranging from mild to wild.
In this article, we dive into the Wacky Adventures world so that you know exactly what to expect. However, spoiler alert, you can expect great fun and family bonding like you’ve never experienced before. So, without further ado, let’s embark on a wacky adventure with Wacky Adventures!
Swimming Pools
Wacky Adventures has 3 swimming pools for you to lounge in during the hot summer days that South Africa is so well known for. All visitors are allowed in the swimming pools; however, adult supervision is required. Open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., you have the entire day to treat yourself to poolside bliss. Grab your sunblock, go get a cool refreshing drink, and get ready to dip in and out of the pools as you please.
The Speedsters
Speedsters are super fast yet super fun! Climb the 6-metre-high ramp before heading down to the splash paradise down below. If you were going on water slides at other water parks, you’d start to feel sore after loads of sliding. Fortunately, you don’t have to worry about that here because Wacky Adventures provides mats for you to go down the slides. It’s super comfortable and before you know it, you’ll be slung into the pool! This slide is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Moreover, this activity is included in your day pass.
Quad Biking
Available daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., quad biking should be on your itinerary for a wacky, fun-filled day at Wacky Adventures! Although this activity is not included in your day pass, you can easily add it. Even when the water park is closed, during the winter months (April – October), you can still book a quad biking excursion.
However, when the park is open, there is no need to book in advance. These bikes are automatic, and no experience is needed. The duration of these excursions lasts between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the package chosen.

Go-karting
Everybody knows go-karting, the pre-historic ancestor of Formula 1 cars. So, if you’ve never tried it before, Wacky Adventures offers you the chance to feel the wind brush past your cheeks for 10 laps (or more) in the Fynbos region. Feel like a champion and climb into the contraption that embodies fun, adrenaline, and sportsmanship all in one! Go-karting is, however, not included in your day pass but could easily be added to your package.
Kids Go-karting
Because go-karting does not necessarily accommodate even the smallest member of the family, Wacky Adventures has found a solution to this unfortunate inconvenience. From ages 6-9, children can enjoy 5 laps of uninterrupted fun. With the 50cc engine, parents can relax, sit back, and enjoy the safe spectacle that might just unfold in front of their eyes.
Mini Kids Slides
Wacky Adventures is one of the most family-friendly water parks in Hopefield. This is evident in everything they do and the Mini Kids Slides are no exception. Moreover, as stated by Wacky Adventures themselves, ‘the need for speed does not have an age limit’. It’s known as the mini version of The Speedsters slide.
However, the kids have 2 additional slides that the adults don’t have. Boo hoo! They also have 2 twisty-turfy slides on either side of the mini-speedster. Fun has no age cap, not at Wacky Adventures anyway. This part of the park is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is included in the daily pass!

The Slide Zone
Gosh, it seems as if the waterworks have no end in sight! The Slide Zone is primarily for toddlers and small children and is the perfect zone for those who are still seen as a little fragile. Open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., kids can enjoy a total of 9 slides, 3 spiral slides, and one mini super-tube! So, with some mild supervision, you and your family can sit along the poolside, sunbathe in peace, and gaze upon the youngsters play to their heart’s content! Of course, this part of Wacky Adventures is included in your day pass.
Playground
The playground is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. when Wacky Adventures is open for operation. The playground is a colourful amalgamation of swings, slides, ramps, jungle gyms, and more! It’s also a great setting for kids to wind down after a long day spent in the pools and on the waterslides. However, it’s also a great setting for kids to learn social skills, problem-solving techniques, and teamwork. Playgrounds are the ultimate breeding ground for socialised kids, so be sure to spend some time here before heading back home!

Food and Drinks
When going to Wacky Adventures, you don’t need to pack a picnic basket because Wacky Adventures serves an array of food to indulge in. Seeing that you and your family are going to be busier than a bodybuilder in the gym one week before the body-building championships, it’s granted.
Wacky Adventures serves all kinds of soft drinks and when it comes to food, you can choose to grab a traditional cheeseburger with chips, a double cheeseburger with chips, a boerewors roll with chips, a chip roll, and hot chips. I would opt for the boerewors roll as it consists of a traditional South African sausage that you can easily divulge without the bread. However, Wacky Adventures does allow for picnic baskets to be brought in, as well as cool drinks.
About The Competition!
If you enter the competition, you get to experience every single activity that Wacky Adventures has on offer. Yes, this includes quad-biking and go-carting! You are allowed to pack a picnic basket, bring some homemade iced tea along (just not in glass bottles), and set up your own gazebo station!
If you have not entered yet, be sure to do so by liking the PureLife.travel Facebook Page, following the PureLife.travel Instagram page and signing up for our monthly newsletter. And voila, you stand a chance to win 4 sets of tickets for yourself!
