Let’s start with something short and sweet, shall we? Let me introduce you to the 1.8 km Green Park Running Route. This is a beautiful run in one of London’s most beautiful parks. Greenery surrounds you as fresh air bursts into your lungs on this short yet impactful run. This is a somewhat circular route around Green Park, one of the royal parks of London and the semi-circular forecourt of Buckingham Palace. For the full route from Walk Run Cycle, click here.

This park is notable for having no lakes or buildings, and only minimal flower planting in the form of naturalised narcissus. The latter is a flowering perennial genus of the Amaryllis family. In short, it’s a sort of white Daffodil with a yellow centre that closely resembles a starfish. They are quite remarkable in Green Park, and you’d be sure to remember the sight of them as you run by their blooming, glowing eyes.

Hi there! I’m Megan, an absolute lover of words, literature, books, stories, anything that has to do with writing, reading, imagining. Because of my passion, I decided to make writing my life, and with that, I decided to study BA Languages at the University of Pretoria and am happy to report that I made my dream come true by graduating and becoming a travel writer. During my final year I wrote for my campus newspaper, the PDBY, where I learned to trust my writing voice. Now, as I sit here writing my petit little bio, I feel more in love with writing than I’ve ever been. Turns out, like much of my personality, my writing can equally showcase both the calm and put-together, as well as the crazy.
